Sarah’s second book is ‘Someone Like You’, which is a coming of age story about two teenage girls namely Scarlett Thomas and Halley who are neighbors.
Sarah Dessen’s first two books were made into a movie named ‘How To Deal’ starring Mandy Moore.
In 2017, Dessen was awarded the Margaret A. Edwards Award for her novels Dreamland (2001), Keeping the Moon (2000), Just Listen (2007).
